Important Information

Our welfare is very important to our humans and always comes first.  The owners reserve the right to ask you to leave if you behave in a way that negatively affects any of us.

It is a working farm so please wear clothes appropriate to the weather. The ground can get very muddy. We recommend only closed-toe shoes/boots and advise against sandals.

Alpacas don’t mind the rain but if the weather is bad and you would prefer a dry day please get in touch to rebook.

SORRY NO VISITING DOGS
We are a friendly crowd, but we don’t get on well with dogs so please do not bring any dogs to our home.

PREGNANT WOMEN
We alpacas are naturally docile creatures but can kick out if scared or threatened. If you are concerned we can structure the visit so you can remain outside of the animal enclosures.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • If the weather is horrible on the day the visit can be rescheduled to another day.
  • Visits can be rescheduled up to 72 hours before the booking by either party.
  • We reserve the right to cancel/reschedule a visit due to circumstances beyond our control – such as a sick animal needing attention. A refund will be given if rebooking is not an option.
  • Any other refunds will only be given at the discretion of Wye Valley Alpacas Ltd.
